Jord Althuizen
In 2010 begon oprichter, eigenaar en pitmaster van Authentiek BBQ Catering bedrijf Smokey Goodness Jord Althuizen met zijn missie om Nederland kennis te laten maken met een betere vorm van barbecueën op echt vuur. En met succes, het resultaat is onder meer de vestiging van BBQ-restaurant Black Smoke in Antwerpen en Rotterdam en de succesvolle Smokey-boekenserie, waarvan inmiddels meer dan 400.000(!) exemplaren verkocht zijn. Meerdere titels zijn uitgeroepen tot Kookboek van het Jaar en de serie is ook verkrijgbaar in Frankrijk, Duitsland, Hongarije, Engeland en Amerika.
